what happens to us? the one thing that i know is people want to be involved in supporting the agenda. how it looks is a discussion that we need to have with the grassroots. you can't run two presidential campaigns and say we're going to do it from d.c. now. that's not how it's going to work. what's going to happen, the president has been direct, is our people are going to get to make some decisions. we're going to go through a process like we did after the '08 and sit down with them. part of the smartest thing we did in the 2012 campaign was go and have a series of town halls online with the supporters. what kind of campaign do you want to run? that's why we ended up doing some things at the time i didn't want to do. get involved in local elections in wisconsin. because our people wanted to. it ended up being some of the best things we did. we're going to learn from our folks. >> what are the mechanics of that? this was an e-mail yesterday or two nights ago from you -- maybe it was george clooney. asking

and they can depend on us. the problem we're facing is that i'm not sure if i'm going to be able to continue to over the kind of health care that they, their families and kids need. that is the fear that we're going forward within the 13. all of the the hidden agendas held back on obama health care we feel they're probably going to start to surface so we'll get a better understanding. the fear is that if costs continue to rise, we won't able to take care of them the way we have for many years and those rising costs will then force us to really consider whether we maintain, retract or grow your business going forward. that is the fear we have. >> let me ask you two questions if you report the value, let's say the value of the health insurance is 3,000. if you report the value the fear is that the government is going to determine that is income and the person receiving that w 2, that value notice going to have to pay income tax on the 3,000. is that what you mean as to value on the w 2? >> that is what i understa

i used this example and i want to use it again. i remember that house members and senators. they would hand out pens and these house members and senators would want a pen, because that had something to do with being a statesman, and a leader, and caring more about the country than just being reelected that has to be a change of mind. the president, i must say this, he's got to mix it up. he's got to be a little more lbj and bill clinton. if you're in politics you've got to pick up the phone. >> there is some short term business that can be done in this city. looming over the head of thousands of defense industry workers in this area. the republican house, or democratic senate were not able to come to an agreement on this, basically, because they were at lager heads for most of the summer. they come back now to this city. is this a chance to demonstrate the fact that despite the differences, despite that they were thrown into this caldron, that they can actually work together and maybe avoid these defense cuts. >> we'll soon find out. the deadline is january 1. there is a lam

i think what our voters are telling us is that they like early voting. its a method of choice now theyre used to it and so were going to have to adjust and find larger sites and maybe have one super site, as it seems voters like early voting. but now that its over, tuesday... election day... will be the final say anyone will have at the polls. it is really close i think its really important to get out and vote. and every vote counts. in chicago, sean lewis wgn news. >> republican candidates met ryan and paul ryan are blitzing the battleground states on this final weekend before election day. romney was an iowa for an early-morning rally today. moving on to new hampshire he reminded supporters of what he has called obama is broken promises to the american people >> he was going to get unemployment down to 5.2 percent right now. we just learned it is up to 7.9% >> he then moved on to colorado. his running mate paul ryan wasn't pennsylvania introducing his family to supporters. then he was off to virginia >> meanwhile president obama is pushing his campaign

i'm going to be the one that can get us beyond that. it's two things, it's to appeal to independents. but another piece of it is the growing realization that congress is going to be divided regardless of who is elected as president and this next president has to deal with a divided government. gwen: i wonder how much of this is about economic development and the jobs numbers can play into that. people are saying they feel good about the economy even though they don't trust the president. >> i see these job numbers as basically being status quo. they can affect things in a big way. the decimal point kicked up one point but the actual job number was a little higher than forecasted. mitt romney has won the economy, not by a huge margin. generally, that's a good thing for a challenger. he's won the issue of bipartisan. i think president obama's trying to close some of that ground. but people will say that the ability to capture the center is important to them. they seem to be tilting a little bit in mitt romney's favor. those are good funda
